| Biography: | Jessica Malenga was born in Kitwe, Zambia. She moved to Milwaukee at the age of nine, and has three siblings. She now resides in Nashville, Tenn.
Jessica is an educator with more than 12 years of hands-on working and volunteer experience with youth ages six-weeks to 18-years-old, including special education. She is a member of the Tennessee branch of the innovative, grassroots child advocacy organization – Stand For Children, and volunteers with area churches. Jessica serves as the volunteer Guest Relations Coordinator, USA, Director of Youth Camp (ages 10 and under), and is a Board Member of Resource Team for Early Childhood Education for Fergus Simpson Foundation, Inc. (Chapelton, Jamaica). Jessica currently works in behavior modification education in the Middle Tennessee Area. Before relocating to Tennessee, Jessica was a foster parent in Milwaukee, WI. After years of planning, directing and coordinating baby and bridal showers, weddings, and various celebrations for friends and family, Jessica decided to start her own event planning business – – Auntie Jelly’s Events! Jessica was given the affectionate nickname Auntie Jelly during one of her mission trips to Jamaica. Auntie Jelly’s Events is a party/event planning company based in Nashville, Tenn. The Auntie Jelly’s Events team is committed to a consistent wave of professionalism. Together with their clients, they work as a team. Auntie Jelly’s Events plans, coordinates and directs a wide variety of special events from weddings to baby namings for different cultures. Auntie Jelly’s Events is the proud host of the Annual Ms. Bella (Plus Size) Pageant that serves as a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk in Nashville, Tenn. Auntie Jelly’s Events hosts a number of “Parties for Causes” throughout the year. Jessica is passionate about outreach. She lost a beloved aunt to breast cancer, and is committed to the fight against breast cancer. Her personal and company motto is “It’s Time to Get Excited”! Jessica is excited about helping Brides Against Breast Cancer, a wonderful cause that is making such a phenomenal impact on the lives of others. |
