| Biography: | Karen was born and raised in NJ, where she graduated as a Marketing and Computer Science major from Rider University. Her passion for travel & adventure has led her to 48 of the 50 states, Mexico, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, Italy, & Greece…..but, eventually she had to settle down and get a “real job” J. Karen had a very successful career as the National Sales Manager & Special Events Coordinator for a large European company for many years before moving to Los Angeles with her partner, Kevin McCullough, to join NorCal Media–started by Cathy Lonsdale–and launch LABridal.net & LA Bridal guide.
When they first heard about the Brides Against Breast Cancer national gown tours, both Karen and her partner Kevin knew immediately that they wanted to be involved in some way. Cancer has touched very close to home for Karen, who lost both her mother & grandmother to the disease. So, when she was asked to participate with BABC, she knew that she could use her personal passion, along with her experience in event coordination, to help make their LA events as profitable (and fun) as possible. LA Bridal is so very honored & excited to join the team at BABC! LA Bridal, and its sister publications– East Bay, South Bay, & Peninsula Bridal in Northern California, were established on the grounds of service.
