| Biography: | Kamarah is a native of the Caribbean country of Jamaica, but having spent a majority of her life in Georgia, some consider her a ‘Georgia Peach’. She experienced event planning at an early age, being her mother’s assistant for many events, including birthday and holiday parties, weddings, and even a vow renewal ceremony for over twenty couples. As she got older, it was no surprise that she was the “go to” girl to coordinate life celebrations for those around her.
After toying with the idea for some time, she opened The Event Revolution – Kalydaskope, a special events planning firm, in 2009. Since that time, she has had the opportunity to work with, learn from, and be mentored by some of the best professionals in the special events industry. Kamarah is a Certified Professional Wedding Planner and is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, serving on the Advisory and Newsletter Committees. With the motto of “You Imagine – We Create – Everyone Enjoys”, she works with her staff to make her clients’ desires a unique, memorable, and enjoyable reality for all in attendance. Though she keeps busy with clients, she still makes time to participate with various community organizations, such as being a Girl Scout troop leader and functioning as one of the City Coordinators for the Brides Against Breast Cancer™ Nationwide Tour of Gowns. |
